The STEM I classes at Huntland High School researched and engineered their own solar ovens. The students worked in pairs to design their oven so it would cook a S'more. The students experimented with the position of the chocolate and the marshmallow to find the most efficient way to cook the s'more. They determined that adding a cut marshmallow first and allowing it to get hot before adding the chocolate to the top of it was the most efficient way. The shortest time was 6 minutes while the longest time was about 20 minutes.
