Experience

I began teaching Spanish at Huntland in August 2006, less than 3 months after graduating from Sewanee with a double major in Spanish and Psychology.  During my tenure, I have gotten married, had 2 children, bought (and moved into!) three houses, persued a graduate degree, and grown professionally.  I like watching true crime and forensic shows (Criminal Minds addict, right here!), reading mysteries, and drinking Diet Dr. Pepper!

Over the years, I have taken on roles in addition to teaching Spanish including Junior Class Sponsor, Prom Sponsor, Basketball Homecoming Coordinator, National Honor Society Advisor, Curriculum and Instructional Coach, Compassion Committee member, and initiating a public speaking course and teaching ACT Prep. I am so thankful to be part of the Huntland community.
