BIO:

I grew up in a small town outside Decatur, AL. I graduated from Athens State University with a degree in Elementary Education. This is my 22nd year teaching. For the first four years I taught in two private schools in Huntsville, teaching 3rd and 4th split and 3rd grade. I then got a job at Pelham Elementary in Grundy County. I taught there for 10 years, teaching PreK for seven and moving to 2nd for the last three. I joined Huntland in 2016. This is my 14th year teaching PreK. My husband and I have been married 22 years. We moved to New Market when we married and lived there for 15 years. In 2016 we decided to move to Huntland to be closer to his mom and dad. My husband grew up here and graduated from Huntland. We have two boys, Owen who is 18 and attending Motlow this year and Ryan who is 13 and in 8th grade at Huntland. I love teaching at Huntland School and am proud to be apart of this family.
